POWERTRAX NO-SLIP TRACTION SYSTEM DIFFERENTIAL -- Dana 60; This System can be installed within the existing differential case assembly; Replaces the spider and side gears only; The rest of the differential gears are not included with this item as it retains the OEM ring and pinion setup for easy installation; Fits open differentials with 9.75 in. diameter ring gear and 30-spline pinion; Made of stronger-than-titanium material and featuring the latest design in traction-adding differentials, the No-Slip Traction System provides the maximum traction of a locking differential combined with the smooth and quiet operation of a limited-slip device; This gives 2WD vehicles the traction power of 4X4 vehicles and delivers ultimate traction to 4WD vehicles; Additionally, its precise synchronization mechanism does away with friction clutches and special lubricants, eliminating the ratcheting sounds typical of other locking differentials, while special gear and spring design reduce backlash and driveline windup; Also works well on the front axle of 4WD vehicles, provided that the vehicle is equipped with locking hubs on the front axle or with front axle disconnect, that the vehicle is not equipped with full time 4WD, and that the vehicle is not operated on the highway with the front hubs locked and 4-wheel drive engaged.
