Part Description & Details
This high flow thermostat is designed to be paired with a high flow water pump in a high performance cooling system. With some other thermostat designs, the increased flow generated by the high volume water pump can actually attempt to hold the thermostat closed. To compensate for this effect, this thermostat uses a special "Balanced Sleeve" design that equals the pressure exerted on the thermostat, allowing its operation to be solely regulated by coolant temperature.
