Auto Meter NV series Mechanical Boost / Vacuum Gauge is mandatory when boost pressure is being modified to levels higher than OEM standard on a production turbocharged car. A boost gauge will measure pressure in either PSI or bar and many also measure manifold vacuum pressure also in inches of mercury (in. Hg). It offers a complete line tachometers, speedometers and gauges for just about any application. Bright anodized bezels, glowing orange pointers, intense green LED through the dial lighting scheme and complete line offering including short sweep, mechanical and full sweep electric gauges set this series apart. Auto Meter NV series speedometers have a hot new style that features a white face during the day and full-dial green LED illumination at night with a high-tech look and feel, much like the cockpit of an F-16 fighter. The black increments on the bright background are easy to read, so you can check your speed at a glance. It is perfect for street rods, muscle cars, sport compacts, trucks, etc and includes a rugged, rubber-lined shock proof strap with mounting base. It operates on standard/electronic and most high performance electronic racing ignitions. Bronze bourdon tube with 270 degree sweep movements and durable nylon gearing have made these rugged and long lasting gauges a proven high performance favorite for over 25 years. These mechanical gauges require no electrical power for operation making them an ideal choice for vehicles with no or low powered electrical systems.
