KC Hilites Daylighter 100-Watt Flood Single Lights use a heavy-duty rubber gasket that isolates the lens, reflector, bulb from the metal housing and elements of weather. They include KC's patented shock mounting system that was developed as a way to isolate the lamp unit from the mounting bracket or surface to which the light is mounted. These lights successfully reduced lamp failure due to vibration and have been proven through the extremes of off road racing. Now, the shock mount systems have been updated from the original to require no extra drilling. KC Hilites currently offers a wide range of 6 inch round lights in various finishes and wattages that include these proven shock mount systems.
