It takes a lot of time and money to do the job right. We will sometimes spend up to 2 to 3 times more just to make the Super Competition header work only 5 to 10% better. That commitment to excellence has made Hooker Headers the winningest header manufacturer in automotice drag racing history.Features: Reduces back pressure; Improves low and mid-range torque and HP; light weightInstallation Notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Hoooker recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage.
