Edelbrock 1974 Carburetor Jets - Set of 2 (1974, E111974)

Part Description & Details

The Edelbrock Primary Metering Jet is designed for use with the Edelbrock Performer Series, Thunder Series and original equipment GM Rochester Quadrajet carburetors only and not for any other brands. This is a gasoline, brass metering jet with drill size 0.074 inch. When reassembling, the jet must be screwed in tight against the seat. The step in the rod changes the effective jet area between high and low manifold vacuum conditions. When the manifold vacuum drops due to load, the step up spring forces the metering rod up and the step down in rod size allows more fuel to flow through the jet.

Features:
  • Designed for use with the Edelbrock Performer Series
  • Replaced with leaner than standard metering jets
  • Drill size is 0.074 inch
  • Gasoline, made out of brass
  • Step in the rod changes the effective jet area between high and low manifold vacuum conditions
