Not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled motor vehicles.Because these camshafts use aggressive lobe designs it is important that valve springs valve locks retainers pushrods lifters rockers and other related components be matched to the camshaft. We do not recommend the use of stock valvetrain components with Xtreme Energy camshafts.This Comp Cams Xtreme Energy camshaft is built to take advantage of the latest cam technology to provide maximum performance. Whether your use is off-roading towing or street performance this Xtreme Energy cam is for you. By using an aggressive lobe profile this cam provides better throttle response and more top-end horsepower than equivalent cams from other manufacturers while delivering increased engine vacuum.Specifications: * Advertised duration: 284 intake/296 exhaust * Duration at .050 in.: 240 intake/246 exhaust * Gross valve lift: .507 in. intake/.510 in. exhaust * Lobe separation: 110 degrees * RPM range: 2300-6500 * Street/Strip needs 2800 plus stall 9:1 minimum compression ratio * Will only fit single bolt camshaft timing gearsXtreme Energy Cams™ are designed to take advantage of the latest improvements in valve train components and the newest developments in camshaft lobe design.
