These bars offer maximum protection against road hazards, and a U.V. resistant step pad that won't fade or crack under harsh conditions. The Platinum Series are guaranteed not to yellow or tarnish over time and feature Westin's easy no-drill installation. Backed by a lifetime manufacturers warranty.The Westin Difference: - U.V. resistant molded polymer step pad will not fade or crack under harsh conditions - A recessed area, rather than a cut-out hole, prevents interior corrosion for long life without rust - 3" diameter stainless steel tubing - Durable stainless steel with highly polished chrome or black powdercoat finish - Slip resistant recessed step area - Customized mounting brackets vary with each application
