This Comp Cams Xtreme Energy camshaft is built to take advantage of the latest cam technology to provide maximum performance. By using an aggressive lobe profile this cam provides better throttle response and more top-end horsepower than equivalent cams from other manufacturers while delivering increased engine vacuum.Not legal for sale for sale or use pollution controlled motor vehicles.Recommended parts: * Lifters: CCA-832-16 * Valve springs: CCA-926-16 * Retainers: CCA-747-16 * Valve locks: CCA-611-16 (Valve spring oil shield available). * Valve seals: CCA-502-16Specifications: * Advertised duration: 256 intake/262 exhaust * Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 210 intake/218 exhaust * Gross valve lift: .514 in. intake/.514 in. exhaust * Lobe separation: 111 degrees * RPM range: 1000-5000 * Idle: Good * Strong low end and mid-range torque with good idle.Xtreme Energy Cams™ are designed to take advantage of the latest improvements in valve train components and the newest developments in camshaft lobe design. Their aggressive lobe design produces better throttle response and top end horsepower than other cams with the same duration. Xtreme Energy Cams™ also deliver increased engine vacuum.Because these camshafts use aggressive lobe designs it is important that valve springs valve locks retainers pushrods lifters rockers and other related components be matched to the camshaft.
