Made from high impact and heat resistant acrylic, AVS headlight covers also add a layer of protection for the expensive head lamps on your vehicle. To achieve the popular blackout effect these covers are colored dark, smoke gray and can be painted for an awesome custom touch. No tools or drilling are required to install these blackout headlight covers. Depending on the application, they are either held in place by AVSs dual lock tab system (think aggressive Velcro tabs) or snap on over the head lamp. Because these blackout headlight covers hinder head lamp performance, AVS recommends them for off-road and show use only. Since theyre designed to be easily taken on and off you can quickly remove them for nighttime driving. Either way be sure to check local laws before installing them over your headlights.
