An upgraded tuning chip can increase a vehicle's performance, but the chips in some vehicles were not designed to be replaceable, so Hypertech created this Power Tuning Module to give you the benefits of a chip swap without physically removing the OEM chip. The PTM installs in-line without cutting or splicing -- simply unplug the vehicle's wiring harness connector from the vehicle's computer, plug in the PTM's cable, and plug the wiring harness into the PTM. The Power Tuning program, based on dyno-developed point-by-point spark curve tuning optimized for your year\make\model of vehicle, can now maximize the engine's horsepower.
