Monroe Sensa Trac Monotube Shock Absorber is designed for replacement of vehicles originally equipped with monotube shock absorbers. This shock absorber reduces the effect of a sudden shock by the dissipating the shock's energy. It features a high pressure nitrogen gas charged of 240-360 pound per square inch that provides a very tight damping response for excellent vehicle control. This shock absorber consists of a free floating dividing piston that separates shock fluid from high-pressure gas charge. It contains special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction. This shock absorber includes precision tapered grooves that help provide added control. It has a pressure tube which enables high strength to resist damage and provide longer service life. This shock absorber comes along with a fluon banded piston that works with the existing groove tube technology to provide responsiveness to changing road conditions. It also features a hardened and chrome plated piston rod providing long service life.
