Severe Service Shock Absorber is engineered for emergency, municipal fleet and construction uses. This shock absorber is gas-charged, highly durable and features strengthened components for superior stability and ride control in the toughest applications. It features a multi-lip fluid seal, nitrogen gas charged, Fluon-banded piston, ten stage valving and all-weather fluid to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction. This shock absorber contains a DOM pressure tube for improved tube strength and a powdered metal rod guide with DU bushing for better side load performance. It includes a heavy chrome rod with better finish for longer seal life and a large bore for greater working capacity. This shock absorber consists of arc-welded mounts for higher tensile strength and is backed by a limited life time warranty.
