The Edelbrock Extreme IAS Shock Absorber relies on the strength of the patented inertia active system valving for unmatched smoothness. This unique valve design senses changes in the terrain and adjusts with extra stiffness to fit the off-road driving situation. This shock absorber is anchored by a rugged nitro steel piston rod that outlasts flaky chrome models. Mono-tube construction, rolled tube ends and Viton seals prevent leaks. Precise robotic welds round-out the durable construction. It sports a sleek zinc-plated finish and is specifically designed for lifted rigs. The remote reservoir uses abrasion resistant braided stainless steel lines and provides increased oil capacity for cooler operation in demanding off-road conditions. The tube ends are rolled closed for leak-free construction.
