Auto Meter's Pro-Compact series gauges are built to take the abuse found in any professional racing environment, and provide accuracy to critical standards when the pressure is on. It is designed for the professional racer and uses backlit incandescent lighting with a black background and silver surround ring. Pro-Compact series features many gauges that are filled with an internal dampening fluid for smooth pointer movement in applications where abnormally harsh vibration will occur. It is designed and proved to be the most durable gauges on the planet. Liquid filled mechanical gauges use our standard top of the line and extremely durable 270 degree sweep Pro-Compact mechanical gauge movements. Liquid silicon compound is filled for extreme vibration dampening and smooth pointer movement. These gauges are proven to give steady and accurate readings in the harshest of competition environments. Some tachometers, especially those used in automobiles are similar in construction and operation to automotive speedometer. When you are ready to put the best instrumentation available in your vehicle, don't settle for slow and inaccurate factory equipment.
