Part Description & Details

Bolt on this set of Tork-Step headers and get ready for a solid increase in engine torque readings. The secret is in the precise broadening of the primary tube to create a boost in torque. They provide more low-end pulling power greater RPM recovery after shifting and more available power during downshifts for passing. Made of 18 gauge steel with 1/4 in. flanges this set is not only great at building torque but is extremely reliable too.Modification to stock exhaust is required to retain catalytic converter.Race applications only. These are not legal for street or highway use.Specifications: * Primary tube size: 1 1/2 in.-to-1 5/8 in. * Collector size: 3 in. * Finish: Black * Not for use with smog injection or injection heads. * Shorty- style header for maximum ground clearance. * Will fit with angle plug heads (Chevy aluminum only.) * Must modify rotary A/C bracket.
