Part Description & Details

Modification to stock exhaust is required to retain catalytic converter.Race applications only. These are not legal for street or highway use.Bolt on this set of Tork-Step headers and get ready for a solid increase in engine torque readings. The secret is in the precise broadening of the primary tube to create a boost in torque. They provide more low-end pulling power greater RPM recovery after shifting and more available power during downshifts for passing. Made of 18 gauge steel with 1/4 in. flanges this pair of headers is great for building torque.Specifications: * Primary tube size: 1 1/2 in.-to-1 5/8 in. * Collector size: 3 in. * Finish: Black * Chevrolet engine * Not for use with smog injection or injection heads. * Will not fit 1967-69 Camaro with A/C. * Shorty- style header for maximum ground clearance. * Not for use with (Saginaw) P/S close ratio. * Will fit with angle plug heads (Chevy aluminum only.) * Must modify rotary A/C bracket.
