Pioneer Prods. Transmission Filter Kit 745046 (745046)

Part Description & Details

A premium-quality Pioneer transmission filter is the best way to protect your workmanship on a transmission overhaul or rebuild. Even on a filter and fluid change, a budget filter can come back to haunt you.
  • Uses OEM-spec filter material to assure that the smallest particles are trapped and removed before they reach a critical component.
  • Is designed for high flow rates, assuring every corner of the transmission is protected and that it's properly cooled.
One of the most annoying parts of any transmission service job is replacing the pan gasket. Many pan gaskets are extremely difficult to install, and that often leads to leaks. Some materials are not well suited for transmission pan applications and can begin to "weep" through the gasket material or leak past the bolts.
  • Solution3 gaskets are made from a solid 90 durometer rubber material - there are no fibers or air pockets to allow fluid to "weep" or leak.
  • Solution3 gaskets are "formable," allowing them to conform to the irregularities of the transmission case flange and the pan.
  • A Solution3 gasket maintains its thickness and has an elastic "memory," providing long stability in service.
  • Most Solution3 gaskets have a "hole-lock" feature, using the mounting bolts to help align the gasket to the pan. The holes are smaller than the bolts, holding the bolts in place for easier over-the-head installations. This feature seals the bolt hole, greatly reducing the chance for leaks.
  • Solution3 gaskets are uncured - installation and the first operation at 150° F+ cures the gasket.
  • Operating temperatures of 280° to 290° F will not harm the Solution3 gasket.
  • A Solution3 gasket is easily peeled from the flange or pan without time-consuming and damaging scraping.
NOTE: RTV or other glues/sealants are not compatible with the Solution3 material.
