MSD-8382Pro-Billet FordsFor demanding Ford racing applications, MSD's Pro-Billet Dual Pickup Distributors are the answer. Each distributor features a billet housing that is machined from a solid piece of 6061-T6 aluminum using computer controlled CNC machining technology. This special machining process produces a housing with tolerances within 0.001" and higher strength throughout.Additional features include a fully adjustable mechanical advance consisting of a hardened advance cam, chrome moly weights and weight pins that are tig-welded to the advance plate. The entire assembly is welded to a polished steel shaft which is also QPQ coated for friction reduction. The advance assembly can also be locked-out with no welding.Two high output magnetic trigger pickups are bolted to the billet base of the distributor so you can have a secondary ignition trigger source for a backup ignition and coil. NOTE: Must be used with an MSD 6, 7, 8 or 10 Series Ignition. Supplied with Cap and Rotor.V8, 289, 302 PN 8382*" " "
