Monroe Max-Lift Gas Charged Lift Support is used to lift and hold open trunks, hatches, hoods and even glove boxes. Max-Lift gas charged lift support is an exact replacement for worn original units. It contains a steel body pressure cylinder that is manufactured for durability and corrosion resistance. This gas charged lift support features a nitro-carburized rod for exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. It consists of a durable plastic rod that reduces potential rod abrasion. This gas charged lift support contains a main seal which provides positive closure for high-pressure gas. It includes a stop collar and limiting groove which enables precise extended length. This gas charged lift support features a high-strength piston assembly with leak-proof seal that helps prevent fluid leakage around the piston, providing controlled lift and consistent performance.
