Monroe Reflex Truck Shock Absorber is designed with the patented impact sensor technology and combines specially tuned valving with a fluon banded piston. This shock absorber features an impact sensor valve which has the ability to sense acceleration to improve the handling, safety and overall ride characteristics of sport-utility vehicles, mini-vans and light trucks. It contains special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction. This shock absorber includes a better valving range on both the compression and extension cycles of the unit for a comfortable ride. It consists of a fluon banded piston that enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions. This shock absorber features a nitrogen gas charged that maintains tire to road contact by reducing aeration. It contains a two inch diameter reserve tube that allows more fluid carrying capacity for a cooler running unit. This shock absorber includes a 0.625 inches heavy duty nitro carburized rod for long service life and a self-lubricating fluid seal designed to retain gas without excessive wear or friction. It has a lower operating pressure than standard one inch bore units and is backed by a limited life time warranty.
