ACT designs their kits and components for a high standard of performance. Every design has been evaluated for benefits and tradeoffs -- clamp load, friction, pedal feel, working range, and other characteristics are carefully tested and assessed. ACT offers the best combination to achieve the maximum performance. This kit includes the release bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, an Xtreme pressure plate, and a Modified Organic Performance Street disc. The Xtreme pressure plate increases clamp load 50-120%, with a moderate to stiff pedal feel that makes it a good choice for both street and race use, and features a unique single diaphragm design that maintains the proper pressure plate geometry to provide a smooth and precise feel that is positive and firm, extends clutch life, and increases clamp load. The Performance Organic Street style disc uses a premium organic friction material for high heat tolerance, quick recovery, good friction, and long life, while the linings are backed with steel for extremely high burst strength, and the center section resists failure even under harsh conditions.
