The Edelbrock Performer IAS Shock Absorber fits 4 wheel drive vehicles. It delivers extra travel and has more oil capacity for demanding off-road conditions. It comes with superior handling and rear with 0'' lift/drop. The zinc-plated finish is extremely durable for trucks and sport utility vehicles. The remote reservoir uses abrasion resistant braided stainless steel lines and provides increased oil capacity for cooler operation in demanding off-road conditions. It has high-pressure gas and mono-tube construction that dissipates heat more effectively for increased seal life and durability. It features a patented inertia-activated valve that instantly adjusts to driving conditions. Under rough conditions, the valve opens to make the shock softer and more responsive. It includes nitro-steel piston rods, heavy-duty welds and an attractive red powder coated finish. It dramatically reduces body roll with a comfortable ride for outstanding vehicle control. It is the only automotive shock that incorporates the patented Ricor Inertia Active System. This unique valve design senses changes in terrain and adjusts instantly for a better ride. This design makes them soft on rough roads and firm on smooth roads, keeping the tires on the ground and the chassis stable. These high-pressure gas mono-tube shocks come in a classic gunmetal-grey finish with the Vintage Edelbrock logo.
