The Edelbrock Xtreme IAS Shock Absorber is specifically designed for ride comfort in lifted trucks and SUVs. The unique Inertia Active System (IAS) senses changes in the terrain, adjusting instantly with extra stiffness even in extreme off-road driving. They are anchored by a 5/8 NitroSteel piston rod that will not chip or flake. They feature a high-pressure gas charge mono tube construction that more effectively dissipates heat, adding to shock life. They are recommended for both front and rear use for the ultimate in ride quality (sold in front and rear pairs). The extended length of this shock absorber is 21.860 and the collapsed length is 14.070.
