MONROE SENSA-TRAC TRUCK SHOCK ABSORBER -- 23 in. extended length; 14.55 in. compressed length; With 1.375 in. bore, cross pin upper mount, and bushing-and-sleeve lower mount; Includes dust shield; This twin-tube gas-charged shock absorber combines position sensitive damping and Monroe's Safe Tech system to enhance control and ride safety without compromising ride comfort; Precision tapered grooves in the pressure tube provide a smooth and comfortable ride by allowing fluid to flow through and around the piston, whereas a fluon-banded piston and application-engineered full displaced valving provide extra vehicle control once the piston travels beyond the grooves; These features allow this shock absorber to adjust to changing road and weight conditions more rapidly than any other truck shock absorber; Other features include a special self-lubricating seal that retains gas without excessive wear and all weather fluid that reduces friction and ensures smooth rod reaction; With Monroe's limited lifetime warranty.
