Part Description & Details
The original pad set used a removable electrical wear sensor on one pad, which Nissan eliminated in mid-'94 in favor of a mechanical sensor attached to two of the pads. Of the brands we offer, only the NPN set still has the one pad drilled to accept the electrical sensor. The other brands (PBR, Akebono, Sumitomo) are equipped with the later-style mechanical sensors instead. If updating to the later-style pads, please remove or tie back the sensor wiring to prevent interference with other parts on the car..
